Lovely set for an emotive portrait. The model has perfect make up and expression. Her pose seems relaxed and fits perfectly with the rest.
In terms of model and lightning, this shot would get top scores from me.
However, I find the bottom and right sides of the composition not as satisfactory. Her hand reaching forward and, as a consequence, not in focus would be fine, but the undefined object in front of it is just an annoying obstacle to the eye. Similarly, the shapes on the right do not add much to the composition, an empty space would have done the same. Particularly considering the b/w tones of the model's figure, a smoother, lighter surface would have served the porpoise much better. What about cropping off right and bottom to frame just the model in the shot? I'm trying to be helpful, and can't always be nice
Very inspiring vision! She looks so sad but, also has that look of love in her eyes. Has a very French feeling to this image. Though this type of image has been done numerous times, I like it for the fact that it IS different and gives a much different emotion. I love your technique of not killing all the beautiful colors. It has a very vintage feel to it and the important colors remain. It's hard to tell what this image portrays emotionally. Forlorn, in love, distressed are a few of the words I'd use to describe this emotion. All in all, this is a fabulous piece!
